Your room is facing towards the patio (Innenhof) with a beautiful large tree in front of your window and morning sun entering the room. The original parquet was kept as well. The bed and table will be removed, but we can provide a matress and have cubbords and an additional table in the basement in case you don't have your ow furniture yet. You could even take those with you after the 2 months of rent in our place, as the entire unit will be returned to the owner and I'll move abroad. This means we'll give away basically all the things in the flat by the end of 2021.
The costs include our electricity, heating & wifi bill (see additional costs) - so you’re fully covered with what’s stated here!
If you need to move in earlier, you can contact us as well, as most of October either Caro (my flatmate) or I will be travelling , alternately leaving either of the 2 rooms free for you to use.
You can basicaly drop down from our balcony right into the U7 station ‘Siemensdamm’ - which makes it surprisingly convenient to go basically anywhere in Berlin, even though the area itself is not considered one of Berlin’s top spots. We’re also super close to the A100, so in case you drive a car, most places take you 10-30min to reach.
Another major plus is that we have several restaurants & grocery stores right across the street AND the beautiful Jungfernheidepark (where, in summer, you can even swim. You can try in winter if you’re crazy enough though :D). From there, you can walk further to the Havel (a river) and into the forest of Spandau.
Since Caro is moving out, WG Life will change with you moving in. So just shortly about me: I studied philosophy, politics and exonomics, have lived in Jordan and India for a while and work in the changemaking sector (or worked, currently simply getting ready to move abroad again). I’m home half of the day, and the other half run around in the city organizing my things & taking loads of dance classes.
Oh, and for the vegetarians & vegans out there: You have all my sympathy, but i had to change my diet to one that’s pretty high on animal products - so in case that’s a problem for you, you’re warned now :)
Lastly, I’m not a big party person and would appreciate a calm, open minded flatmate that doesn’t plan on getting wasted each weekend.
