The room comes fully furnished (desk, shelf, wardrobe, bed, fridge) and is about 9 square meters in size. It's on the 11th floor (there is an elevator). There is an ethernet socket (for internet) in the wall, you either need a repeater or router if you want Wi-Fi.
It only takes 2 minutes to get to Ostbahnhof, where you can take the S3, S5, S7, S9 or regional trains. You can also travel by U-Bahn, the station Weberwiese is about 10 minutes away by foot.
Ostbahnhof has most of the shops you will need: Supermarkets (REWE, Penny), Pharmacy, Backwerk, Mc Donalds and other places you can get food.
The room is directly adjacent to the hallway of the floor. From there you have access to the bathroom (you must share it with another person) and the kitchen, which is shared by 10-12 people. It's a fully-fledged "Zweck-WG", so there is no real contact with other tenants of the building.
There is a small gym on the ground floor (I haven't used it, so I can't tell you more about it) and washing machines (and dryers) also. You need a Mensa-card to use them.
I'm only subletting the place and moving out mid of February. Anmeldung is possible after the second month of living there.
