Anmeldung (registration), unfortunately, is not possible because though the main tenant of the house does not live here, he is registered here. And only three people can be registered since it's a 3-bedroom apartment. Without the main tenant, we can't afford to take over the contract, so he's actually doing us a favor but has to stay registered. That's why anmeldung would only be possible if one day I or Balazs moves out, or if you take over the contract and become the main tenant.
Our lovely flatmate Antonia is leaving us to follow her path in her studies. Therefore we are looking for a third flatmate in our apartment in Friedrichshain, starting from preferably September 1st, if not, then any day until September 15th.
You may have a contract as a subtenant or if you'd like to, you may also take over the contract, if you have enough income to prove.
The rent is 420Euros and includes everything. The room is 16.5 m2, it looks over the inner courtyard. It is pretty quiet, especially compared to the other rooms looking at the street, but it comes with its own courtyard sounds, of course. It stays cooler than the other bedrooms in summer. It has a bunk bed and will come with a mattress, and two of the cupboards seen in the picture. The rest of the furniture will be taken away.
The apartment is centrally located between Weberwiese and Ostbahnhof in Friedrichshain. Right across the street is an Edeka. Rossman is a five-minute walk, Netto and Lidl take 10 minutes on foot. Karl Marx Allee is right around the corner. You can also easily reach Warschauer Straße in 15 minutes on foot. Volkspark Friedrichshain is also a 20-minute walk from here. Please write szia at the very beginning of your message, so we know that you read the whole ad. We are in need of a dishwasher at the moment because it broke down. If you, somehow, have one you can bring along, that’d be great. If not, we’re on the lookout to get a very affordable one so we all can share the cost.
I (Abel) am 29 years old, master’s student at FU. I am a writer of fiction and am interested in perfumery, clothes, accessories, and other stuff as well. I am very much into Dada and Impressionism. As much as I write, I also spend time outside, go to parks, work out, hit up bars and they hit me back and all. And looking for accessories all around town. It’s hard to find clothes that fit me, so I just focus on accessories.
Balazs (25) is a law student --yes-- and has recently finished his two weeks of exam marathon and is waiting on his oral exam to arrive. He enjoys electronic music, techno, old school rap. He's a big fan of Kater Blau and visits Holzmarkt whenever he has time.
I don’t eat meat (but do eat seafood). Balazs doesn't really have any preference but he doesn’t cook heavy meat (such as boiling etc.) and we’d like to keep it that way. We keep a cleaning schedule that everyone adheres to. We'd like our new flatmate to be conscious of their living, meaning that it can be a peaceful and sharing coexistence. Communication is very important, of course. Also, we wouldn't like it if it felt like a boarding house, where the flatmates are asocial to a level where they stay as strangers. That's pretty sad. Privacy is also respected of course. You know, it should be like a family/friends living together under the same roof.
If you are interested and have any questions you may just send me a message here. Don’t worry about writing a generic letter. We all have been there where we have to write about ourself dozens of time. So, just mention who you are, what you do, how your previous flatsharing experiences have been like, why you're looking for a new room, and anything else you would like to share. I once wrote to this flat about what I was reading at that moment and how I saw this little girl pet this dog in a funny way the other day; they didn’t reply, but, at least the message didn’t bore me.
A steady income is necessary to avoid any problems with the rent.
You may include your Facebook or Instagram if you have one. I personally don't, so if you don't have them, it's no problem. You may also include your favorites, in case you run out of things to say. Such as your favorite author, music genre, drink, bar, part of town, scent, season, ice cream flavor, hairstyle etc.
Also please include your preferable moving in date and how long you’d like to stay.
Personal meetings and viewings will be done on Friday(28.08) and maybe Saturday too, from 5pm on.
It won't be first come first serve, so, as long as the ad is up, you may contact us.
