About me :
My name is Giulia, I am 23 and I am originally from an Italian island. I grew up among different places, including the US and Ireland and I have been living in Berlin for four years now. I am an ex flight attendant who is currently studying International Relations and Diplomacy at uni.
I am passionate about human rights and gender equality. I enjoy cooking, baking (big fan of banana bread here!), reading, doing yoga, going on long walks in the nature, going to festivals, meeting people, learning languages, traveling mostly to unconventional places and going to flea markets. I consider myself a curious, open-minded and down-to-earth person.
Moreover, I speak English, Italian, Spanish, German and Portuguese (feel free to write me in one of those languages if you prefer so). I'm also interested in learning more languages in the future so I'd love if you teach me some words in your language or other languages you speak! Sharing is caring.
The flat & the room :
Firstly, Anmeldung is possible.
The flat is located on the seventh floor (with elevator - don't worry :D) of a building in the heart of Friedrichshain, only two minutes away on foot from U Weberwiese and 5 from U Frankfurter Tor. There are plenty of banks, supermarkets, post offices, drug stores, bars, cafeterias and restaurants just a couple of minutes away. The flat size is 60m² and the room alone 25m².
The room is equipped with a bed, mattress, sofa, carpet, wardrobe and table. You will be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with me - the bathroom is equipped with a washing machine.
The room costs 625€ per month (bills & Wifi included) and the one time deposit is 800€. Every three months we pay a radio fee, which is 26,25€ each.
What I am looking for :
First of all, I'd like to begin saying that your gender, sexuality, eating choices, background, age and nationality do not matter. I am open to diversity :)
I am looking for a clean, friendly and respectful person to share the flat with. I'd love to go for a walk, bake, watch a movie, drink a beer or cook a typical dish from our countries together! I am not looking for somebody who stays in their room the whole time - respecting each other's privacy is a must - but I'd like to live with someone who enjoys each other's company from time to time. That is the purpose of living in a WG, in my mind. :)
I have had various flatmates here in Berlin as well as in Valencia, Spain where I used to live before moving to Berlin and had lovely experiences so I'm hoping to find a similar connection!
* This is not a party WG but having a house party (respecting covid restrictions) once in a while is not a problem at all. Inviting friends over is absolutely okay with me.
