I am Léna, 34, and I am looking for a roommate. I own the flat and I work in Berlin, but I live with my husband in Köln. I will only be in the flat for 2 to 3 days every second week when I visit for work, and most of the time you have the full flat (apart from my room) to yourself!
The flat has 3 rooms: a very large living room, a large bedroom (your room) with a self-built mezzanine, and a smaller bedroom (my room). There is also a built-in kitchen and a bathroom with a window, and a balcony accessible from the living room. Your bedroom is approximately 20m² (+ the extra space of the mezzanine).
The mezzanine can be used to sleep in or as a storing area, it's up to you and how you want to organize the space. Your room is furnished with a double bed, a desk, a mirror, a carpet and a cupboard. I'm quite flexible on which pieces of furniture should stay or go depending on whether you want to add furniture of your own (except for the desk which should stay).
The kitchen is fully equipped (washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooking equipment, etc.).
The bathroom is equipped with a tub and cupboards.
The living room is also fully furnished (couch, eating area, Smart TV, etc.).
We have great quality cable Internet with 200Mbits/s which have always been more than enough for me for home office.
The flat is located in a quiet street, less than 10 min away from Ostkreuz, 5 minutes from the Spree and 10 minutes from Treptower Park. From Ostkreuz you get the Ring Bahn 41/42 as well as the S-Bahn lines 3,5,7 and an express connection to the BER Airport. Ostkreuz is also a station for regional trains.
There is a Netto Supermarket 3 minutes away, Lidle 5 minutes, and Edeka 10 minutes away.
Although the direct area is quiet, you have three Spätis in the street, a few nice bars, clubs and restaurants less than 5 minutes away, and the busy area of Sonntagstraße/Boxhagenerstraße 10 minutes away, as well as Boxhagener Platz to reach in 5 minutes bicycle. You can get to the Spree in less than 5 minutes.
I'm the only other person living in the flat. I am French, 34, work in the Tech space, and spend most of my time in Köln where I live with my husband. I'll usually be in Berlin 2-3 days every two weeks. When I am here I will spend all days in the office, and often be out at night for dinner with friends. I'll be super happy to have a chat when we see each other and maybe sometimes share dinner or a movie night, but you should not expect a full "WG-life". It's important for me to share this upfront to avoid disappointment or misunderstandings. The good thing however is that if you like your space and to be for yourself, you'll have the flat only for yourself most of the times :-)

In case you are looking for a permanent flat and would want to rent this one as a backup solution in the meantime, we can agree on a one-month notice period (so that you are not locked in the contract for 6 months).
