This is a beautiful maisonette flat, that I'm looking to share with somebody respectful, clean, communicative, understanding and friendly.
The two floors are connected via stairs, which means the following: we need to be okay with walking through each others rooms some of the time. Not ideal tbh, but it's such a nice flat that I think we can work it out so we can be happy!
We should continuously talk and adjust our rules, so that it works for both of us!
For example we could agree that we always walk through the building staircase from 22:00 - 10:00 to not disturb each other. Or having a wood that blocks the stairs to have some privacy if we need it!
The bathroom is downstairs, the kitchen is upstairs. We have two entrance doors, so we can actually reach everything through the buildings staircase even if we block the inside staircase temporarily.
Please let me know how you think we can make this work together and your ideas about it, so that I know you have read this description :)
The flat will be very empty in the beginning! So we will build it out from there, if you're creative and have a good aesthetic sense I'm happy to discuss and get some help with making it cozy and beautiful!
We will get a kitchen and some things will be renovated still before we move in.
We will need to get a washing machine, fridge, etc. but that should all be no problem...
The flat is in a lively area and you can bike to Mauerpark in 14 minutes. Public transport is also close by, bus station very close or Ubahn station Osloer Straße, so you'll get around easily!
We are very close to some nice parks - Bürgerpark Pankow, Volkspark Schönholzer Heide - , which is great to get out and have some space to breathe and think.
Prenzlauer Berg is also quite close by (16 minutes by bike to Helmholtzplatz)!
And if you like bouldering, Berta Block is very close as well.
I'm Markus and I have many interests. I'm into music production, djing, video production, coding, cooking, and I love being in creative flow. I would like to have a flat mate with whom I can be comfortable being open and honest. And I think with this living situation it is going to be crucial to be able to know and feel what your own truth is, and to be able to communicate it in a constructive way. Taking things personally very easily is not something I want to put up with.
I'm a quite clean person and want somebody to also be like that. Cleaning up after ourselves is half of the job done already, and for the rest we will assign responsibilities on a monthly basis!

Also, eventually I am looking to have a good friend move in with me, that's why it's for 6 months for now.
But that might not happen (as plans can change) and then the room would be available for longer than 6 months!
