I'm moving in with my boyfriend and therfore my current room in a shared flat is available.
The room is nice, bright and airy, with beautiful stucco on the ceiling, and your own balcony. The contract I have is unlimited and you would simply be taking over the contract. The rent is 520 euros (not including electricity and internet), and the deposit 1040. The landlady is super relaxed and would just need to see your id and that you are a student, no SCHUFA (solicitar ahora) or anything required.
Its really centrally located, in Gesundbrunnen (13357), and very well connected, with the M13 tram just down the street, the Gesundbrunnen station is less than 10 mins away, the Pankstrasse ubahn is less than 8 mins away, and the Bornholmer Strasser sbahn 10 mins away. There are lots of stores, supermarkets and restaurants near by as well.
You would be living with 3 other students (2 guys and 1 girl) who are really nice and friendly. There is a big, fully stocked kitchen and a decently big bathroom for berlin standards. Since the kitchen is nice and big and there is a big table, we sometimes hang out there together, but since everyone studies and works, everyone is respectful of each others space when they need privacy.
There are also other students living in the building and sometimes in summer there is a party in the courtyard where everyone living in the house meets up.
As mentioned in the the title, only university students would be considered as that's the landlord's condition.
The room originally comes unfurnished but since I'm moving in with my boyfriend, it would be ideal if the next tennant is interested in buying the furniture. It would also save you the hassle of having to furnish the room yourself and you would be able to immediately move in. It would include: the bed/mattress, nightstand, couch, curtains, large wardrobe, balcony furniture. I would ask for 300 euros for all of it.
The room would be available from the 1st of February, since I've already moved in with my boyfriend. However, it is possible that the landlady may not be able to make the contract in time for the 1st of February, so it might be that the first month is on a sublease basis (where you rent it from me), and you would be able to sign the contract as soon as its made (during the month of February) and then officially have the contract from the 1st of March.
We will likely have a viewing on Sunday 2pm onwards, so you should be able to attend then.
**IF YOU ARE INTERESTED**
Send me a short introduction about who you are, with the word MONKEY in the beginning so that I know you have read the entire post.
I will respond to requests this evening or tomorrow latest, and then invite seriously interested people for a viewing on Sunday, 2pm onwards.
