Our apartment is on the second floor and has three rooms. One is occupied by me, the other by my room-mate, the third would be yours. :)
The room faces the backyard and is the coolest in summer, the warmest in winter and the quietest throughout. That means: you don't hear any street noise, but when the sun is shining a few children might be playing in the backyard.
We have a small balcony, a kitchen equipped with everything necessary and a bathroom with a bathtub.The room itself is partially furnished. There are a number of essentials (bed, dresser, shelf, mirror and desk), however a few things may be missing, such as a closet to store clothes. It is best to come by and check it out for yourself. :)
The apartment is located in the notorious Bergmannkiez. The bus 248 is right at the next intersection, which brings you quickly to Südkreuz and Ikea or towards Ostbahnhof in the middle of the city. Otherwise, the U7 can be reached in 5min and the U6 in 10min walk. Also within easy walking distance are Hasenheide and Tempelhofer Feld, Viktoriapark and shopping facilities such as Edeka, Netto, Alnatura, Bio Company, Rossman, DM etc. Many incredible cafes, restaurants and stores can also be discovered here.
A few words about us :)
Brett is a game designer/artist working full time at an indie studio during the week. He's friendly, extroverted, loves to cook and is often out and about on the weekends.
I (Basti) am a software developer working from home. I’m a little more on the introverted side, enjoy reading, watching movies and I currently try to do more sports. :)
Our dynamic is quite balanced. We like to chat and interact occasionally (mostly in the communal kitchen), but at the same time respect each other's space and alone time. We are both open to any level of interaction that comes naturally, just so long as it does not feel purely like a "Zweck WG" with zero engagement.
The most important part is that we can live harmoniously and are on the same page about cleanliness and can solve any occasional issues diplomatically. :)
