One room in our WG will be available starting the end of February.
Around 26m², with wooden floor and high ceiling.
Room is on the side of the Hinterhof, only gets morning sun but is very quiet, even though we’re situated in a busy Kiez.
It is furnished with bed, clothes racks, couch, shelves, lamp.
Plan is for the room to be free in the end of February - latest mid March so we would like someone who can be a bit flexible with the dates. Tell us about your plan.
The kitchen is quite big, there is also a sofa where we can hang out so it also functions as a living room.
There's also a microwave and a dishwasher (some people find this info useful :D).
We have a schedule for cleaning - cleaning common spaces on a weekly basis but we expect you to clean after yourself in between.
The apartment is located in the heart of Wrangelkiez, Kreuzberg's most multicultural and lively district.
A lot of bars, restaurants, clubs, parks and the canal can be reached in a few minutes. Also supermarkets are super close (Rewe, Eurogida, Bio company) and apparently best ice cream in town is just around the corner!
Nearest Ubahn is Schlesisches Tor (U1/U3) and there's a 10 min walk to tram M10/Warschauer Str and East Side Mall.
As two people in our WG will mostly be working from home, we would prefer someone who is not wfh most of the days.
You will be sharing the apartment with two people (one from Croatia, one from Hungary), one living in Berlin for years now, one who recently moved here, both working in tech field.
Sociable and caring, but also very independent and hope you will be the same :)
We have a schedule for cleaning - cleaning common spaces on a weekly basis but we expect you to clean after yourself in between (unfortunately this has to be mentioned, due to some experiences from the past :)).
Ideally we are looking for:
- a new flatmate between 30 and 45 years old that is preferably looking for a longer WG solution
- easy going, sociable
- you seek relax and quiet when at home (because outside it’s crazy enough ;-) )
- someone who takes care of theirs and common spaces and cleans up after themselves
- you value your privacy and respect others'
- someone who has a regular job (and an Anmeldung already)
- someone who can openly communicate when there are some issues
- no Anmeldung possible at the moment but might be possible in a few months if we match :-)
