I have to start by mentioning that the landlord is only looking for long term renters (9 months at least). The rent is warme miete, so it includes all utilities and WI-FI.
The furnished room contains a closet, a desk with a chair and a bedframe. The renter is supposed to bring his own bedwares including the mattress, but as I am leaving Berlin I will happily sell you mine for a low price. The room has access to a nice courtyard balcony that is shared with one other roommate. the other rooms are a shared kitchen, bathroom and hallway that connect all the rooms together. If you have a bike, there is a bike rack available in the basement.
The apartment is located in a calm and quiet neighborhood with a few parks nearby. the S-bahn stops S Südende on line 25/26 and Attilastraße on line 2 are a 10 minutes walk away, which mean you are about 20 minutes away from the ringbahn, so you won't be too far from the city centre. the Nearest supermarket is a Lidl right next to the apartment which is very handy.
The three roommates Dohyeon, Chaka and Sofia are generally nice and quiet people that will be up for a conversation in the kitchen or hallway. As the lay out of the apartment doesn't enable it, there is not so much shared life in this WG, but all three of the roommates can be up for more shared activities if you propose them.
Cleaning of the shared rooms is done every week-end by a different roommate, which means you would be responsible for cleaning them every 4 weeks.
A specific requirement I should add is that you are relatively quiet yourself as the shared wall with roommate Dohyeon is pretty thin. The landlord wants the deposit in cash so you have to be fine with that. Also, no pets allowed!
The three roommates can talk both English and German, But my own German isn't great so it would be easier if we can conduct the visit in English.
