Welcome to your future room!
Mokia, Jaza and I recently moved into this wonderful flat but already my room will be available for you from August 17th - September 10th. I am leaving Berlin briefly for an art residency, and I am happy for you to enjoy the room/flat while I am gone.
The room is furnished with a bed, chair, small desk, clothing rack and a couch. The couch sits in a lovely nook with windows on 3 sides which brings in plenty of light. Here I spend time reading and taking cat naps.
The flat is on the first floor of a beautiful old building with original wooden floor boards and high ceilings in the center of Berlin. With a 2 minute walk to U8 Weinmeisterstraße, a 5 minute walk to S Hackescher Markt, and a 9 minute walk to Alexanderplatz you could not be better connected.
The flat is on a commercial street, with many clothing stores and many cafes nearby. Great food is just a few minutes around the corner, whether you want vietnamese, falalfel, burrito, bibimbap, burgers, currywurst, falafel, etc.
For groceries, the enormous Kaufland food market is 5 minutes away and the more cozy Rewe is just 7 minutes.
You will be living with Mokia and Jaza!
Mokia is from Cameroon/America and works as a business development manager at the nonprofit Little Sun Foundation at Studio Olafur Eliason. He likes to play casual football at the park down the street and bake pretzels.
Jaza is from the UK and works as a computer programmer. He likes analog photography, cooking, and clubbing.
The kitchen is the place we hang out for a chat. We tend to cook in big portions and often share meals, but whether you want to be included in that is up to you. In here we have a dishwasher, a dinner table, a couch, speakers, and an extensive spice rack.
NOTE ~Mokia's room~
To access your future bedroom you must be comfortable walking through the wonderful Mokia's room, who stays in what used to be the flat's 30 sq m living room. It would be important that you are mindful of the noise you make when crossing through at night, but he is very accommodating.

Looking forward to hear from you!
