There are two rooms available, one with 18 m², one with 25 m². The rooms only include the essentials, the flat itself is furnished with everything one could ask for (including a projector and big screen, speakers in every room, etc.).
The room's windows show in the Northern direction but still are bright due to the top floor. There are two living rooms with plenty of space to work, chill out and a big dining table and a corner balcony, a big bathroom with a bath tub and washing machine as well as as big kitchen with two fridges and a dish washer. 130 m² and two balconies speak for themselves.
There is a cleaning lady coming every other week included in the rent, as well as heating, electricity, internet, GEZ, etc.
The flat is centrally located in Moabit, so public transport brings you anywhere in the city super fast, with the central train station being just 5 min by bus, U9 5 min by foot and several busses departing at our doorstep. If you're by car you will (almost) always find a parking spot within 5 min walking distance and if you don't own a car there's always a Miles, Car2go, SixtShare, WeShare, Emmy - you name it - around.
The river Spree is 1 min by foot, the Tiergarten 7 min running distance. Arminius Markthalle (5 min by foot) serves the best Brunch and pop up food you will find in Berlin, 4 supermarkets (Kaufland being one of them) in just a few min walking distance as well as countless Spätis and Döner places make sure you never get home hungry. There are several nice cafés and bars around, Moabit is up and coming (at least since 2010 and surely for the next 10 yrs as well).
The neighbourhood is rather quiet in the evening, but if you walk 5-10 min, you will find plenty bars some of them open 24/7.
Right now it's only one person (me) who won't be around much for the next couple of months due to work. Hence a whole new setting will be created so you'll find time and space for yourself, but don't expect a too busy flatshare life.
The flat is available as of now, I am looking for two short term tenants to move in asap and stay until end of April or end of May. After that, there is the potential to extend but that's not 100% clear as of now.
Flat viewing will be this weekend, i.e. Sat / Sun, 17th/18th of February, decision will be made by Sunday night, move in by Thu, 23rd (latest).
Please make sure to write me in the beginning of your message that the tight schedule works for you and I'll be in touch for a slot to visit.
Best,
Jörg
