This room overlooks the backyard, so it is very quiet despite being on Sonnenallee. The room comes with the bed and mattress. There is some furniture (2 armchairs, footstool, shoe cupboard, sofa, mirror, carpet) being sold by the person vacating, and if interested in these, the new person is very welcome to buy them. It is a wonderfully bright room during the summers and cosy and warm during the winter.
Our flatshare is on the 4th floor of a building overlooking Sonnenallee in the heart of Neukoelln. There is no elevator. We are 10 walking minutes away from U8, U7 from Hermannplatz, and numerous buses – m41 (HBF), m29, 171(BER Airport), 194. We are also close to parks like Hasenheide, Koernerpark, Weichselplatz, and not so far from either the Canal or the Tempelhofer Feld.
We are Promona (34 yo, queer BIPOC woman, artist, from India) and Daniel (….from Sweden) in the house. The house has a shared kitchen, bathroom with tub and shower and a small entrance hall where we keep our washing machine and hang our laundry. There is also a tiny storage room that can be used for suitcases or other items of storage. Since it is on the upper floors, the house is very sunny and gets warm in the summers. We are both quiet and neurodivergent people, and very much value respect, boundaries, and an understanding, safe environment for our low days. Sometimes we have our friends over, but our house is not a space for regular partying and socialization. A commitment to tackling house responsibilities and duties like bureaucracy, cleaning and upkeep is a must. The house needs a bit of care and we appreciate a sense of belonging and joint responsibility from flatmates.
We are looking for preferably a queer BIPOC person for the third room to live with us, who is clean, quiet and responsible towards themselves and their surroundings. If you feel this is you, please write to one of us asap and set up a viewing. Please also send us all the necessary documents such as rent-slips, Schufa (solicitar ahora) etc as this is a legal sublet and we need to send the documentation to the house management.
