The room is comes furnished with a high bed, a desk, a chair, and a small sofa. It has a lovely ensuite bathroom with a toilet and shower which will be solely for your use.
We also have a cosy sitting room complete with a nice projector set up (a home cinema to see us through the winter).
The apartment is situated at the end of Silbersteinstraße next to Aldi supermarket and a seven-minute walk from S/U Hermannstraße. Tempelhofer Feld and Schillerkiez are just a 10 minute walk away. Rewe and Lidl are also nearby. S Hermannstr. is on the ring and U Hermannstr. is the U8 which is really convenient for getting around the city.
There are four of us living in the apartment right now, but with a heavy heart Tristan is moving into his own place. We are really sad to see him go as the four of us get on really well and hang out a lot together, so we would love to find someone who is looking for this kind of home. It's important for us that we feel comfortable and the place feels like a shared home, not just separate rooms we live in.
We are: India from the UK who works as a content editor, Gabriele from Italy who is a social worker in a home for people with autism, and Laura from Australia who is a painter and also works in a coffee shop.
We also have a beautiful cat called Janis. Janis is a housecat so most of her life exists between our walls! Therefore, it is really important that whoever moves in loves cats too, and will be happy playing with her and giving her cuddles from time to time.
We are a really easy-going group. Everything should be kept clean and tidy but we don't have any rules or anything like that - just communicate with each other and respect our shared space.
Please only contact us if you are looking for a long term rent. This is our home so we don't really want people coming and going all the time, but instead someone committed to staying in Berlin and looking for a longer term home.
