The apartment is a recently renovated building, located on the 4th and 5th floor. All of us are relatively new and moved in between July-September, but we've grown close over lockdown.
The apartment is beautiful and clean. There is a fantastic kitchen with a large table for communal dinners. All the floors are heated so there will be no freezing this winter :) There is a large balcony next to the kitchen with another big table for some lovely summer lunches!
The room gets plenty of light throughout the day. Its on the fourth floor while the kitchen is above on the 5th floor. The flat
is divided with 4 living on the 4th floor and 2 living on the 5th floor.
As there are 6 people living in the flat, there are two bathrooms, which can be quickly warmed up in the morning. No worries there is never any stress or waiting for the shower.
The flat is always clean plus we have a cleaning person come in twice a month. This is an additional 15 euros per month :)
The room will come partially furnished. The bedframe is non-negotiable, its a new one from Ikea and I would like to sell it for 35eu. If you wish, it can also come with a mattress which is also relatively new (this I will charge 55 eu) but if you don't want the mattress I am happy to sell it elsewhere. Same goes for the drawer and clothes rack :) I am flexible on these items and if you would like them I would be happy to sell them for 15 eu (both)
Super location on Erkstrasse. From here its a direct busride to Sbahn Sonnenalle (just 5 min). There is the Ubahn Rathaus in 2 min walk. Also next door is an amazing spati with everything you could ever hope for.
There is Lidl one min away along with a Rewe, Aldi, Bio-store, and Rathaus Neukolln. Shopping has never been easier. That is all in the direction of Karl Marx Strasse. If you go in the opposite direction you will fall on the canal where there are great cafes, restaurants, and thrift stores. The location is amazing!

The flat dynamic is great and very international . While we all work, its a friendly atmosphere. Before lockdown we went out a couple times to raves but now we enjoy more relaxed activities. This entails sometimes a game of catan, monopoly deal, a nice raclette dinner or a livestream rave in our kitchen (damien is a dj).
There are 6 of us in total.
There is Damien and Fred (two french guys), they're in marketing. Fred is quite creative, loves music, and enjoys doing crafts. Damien is a dj on the side. But don't worry, hes very respectful on noice and always checks with us. This one a special occasion.
There is Dan (american guy) who works for a consultancy group in Berlin. He is great at discussing politics, novels and music as well. He's very sociable, easy to talk to and understanding. He and fred like to go for hikes and always invites everyone to join.
There is theresa (german), she works in biochem. Shes been staying at her home in the south for the last two months but got back this Weekend. She bakes this amazing chocolate cake, especially when you have a bad day. She's lovely to talk to, super open and kind.
There is also Marcel who is german and working at a vertical farm company (he brings home many herbs and plants). He"s very into photography on the side and is doing photoshoots on the side often :)
There is also the flat next door which we are close to. Often play card games together or do dinners.
