PLEASE READ THE WHOLE AD!!
The room is small but there is a lot of storage space: there is a high bed, under which a lot of things can fit; there are some big shelves on the wall and a clothes hanger right outside the room, which you can use. It's very bright since it faces the sun; it's also really quiet, being in the backyard.
As it's located in a corner of the flat, you have 2 options to reach the kitchen and the bathroom:
- you can go through Amelie's room (she is home not so often during the day, and she is fine with you crossing it; she just wishes you don't go often to and fro at night). Anyway you'll have time to speak to her about it when you visit the flat.
- you can go out from a secondary entrance (which is right in front of your room) and get in again with the main entrance. It's only first floor, so it's all quite fast. And it's good to have your personal entrance ;)
Also, you should be aware that your direct flatmate, Amelie, plays the saxophone from time to time, and that shouldn't be a problem for you (I can tell you I can barely hear it if doors are closed).
Please keep in mind also that a deposit of 780€ is to be paid when you move in (and you'll get it back when you move out.)
It's located near Ubahnhof Boddinstrasse (U8). Hasenheide and tempelhof are within 3 minutes walking; so are many shops, supermarket and restaurants.
The Wg life is chill and cheerful; sometimes Kit, Maisy and Amelie (your future flatmates) hang out together in the kitchen sharing food and drinks, and if you want to propose to do stuff you'll probably find someone up to. But you also have your privacy anytime you want it. Amelie is from Germany, Kit and Maisy are from the UK, but they all speak both languages (or are learning), so you'll also have the chance to learn German.
There is a cleaning plan, and it would be best if you could do your part when it's time. There's not strictness about it, only common sense :)
I am leaving the room and selecting some good "applications", so please be sure to introduce yourself with a detailed message about your life in Berlin, your job/studies, and how you mean to live in a shared flat. Include please your phone number (better with whatsapp/telegram), a pic or a link to your social media. Let me know also if you would be available for an "interview" between Wednesday/Friday this week, and when you'd prefer to move in (September the 6th is a flexible date).
Cheers,
Davide :)
