My room is 18m ² in the 3rd floor of the Innenhaus. It is extremely quiet and cozy and peacefully removed from the Sonnenalle just around the corner. The large chestnut tree just outside my window is just coming into bloom.
AS you can see from the pictures, there is a 'Hochbett' in the room. It sleeps quite well, even in the spring and early sommer before it gets too warm outside. THe room is available to rent as seen in the pictures... but we can also discuss any particular wishes you might have, whether or not i should clear certain things out, depening on how much space you may or may not need. With any question or additional information, feel freely to simply write me and ask.
Our flat is located in a cozy Rixdorfer side street just between Böhmischer latz and S bahn Sonnenallee. Five minutes away by foot is the Canal and Weserstraße, five minutes in the other direction is Richardplatz. WE are in the Innenhof, as a result, it is very calm and quiet in my room. A great mix of being close enough to the activity of Neukölln, but still being peacefully removed from it while at home.
We are a quite 2 Person WG. We enjoy cooking together and sitting around the kitchen, or balcony with the spring weather, having a beer and chatting. Liam, my roommate, is an artist working in multi/ mixed media projects and both of us are interested in building any variety of cool/weird/useful/ useless constructions.. and we kind of like to talk about that kind of stuff. We are also film, literature, and music, riding bikes, being outside when the sun is shing... things of that nature. Liam, in addition to English, also speaks Thai and has spent many years living in Thailand. Being communal is nice and a plus, but is also not necessary during your potential time in the room. Having time to do one's own thing on one's own terms is also a very big thing for us.
WE prefer not to be a party flat, at home at least. Obviously, you would be more than welcome to go out and be as wild as you wish, but unfortunately the neighbors are a bit sensitive with loud music in our building, and therefore wish for you to be respectful and considerate of that.
The dates listed are flexibel by a few days depending on your potential stay or needs. We can chat about what would work for everyone :)
