Looking for a young working professional for the 30sqm room in a shared modernized "Altbau" apartment, available now (unlimited/unbefristet). The room is bright and airy, with classic wood floors, super high ceilings, large east-facing windows for great daylight and beautiful crown molding
Rooms include:
- 1 bedroom + balcony furnished with all the essentials i.e., king-size bed (180x200cm), desk, ceiling lights, large Ikea dresser with hanging storage and mirror, balcony table and two balcony chairs; also include doors that open up to the living room, but these doors can be locked.
- 1 large, comfortable living room with minimal/modern furnishing
- 1 long hallway with shoe storage and coat rack
- 1 big kitchen with washer, dishwasher, larger refrigerator, sodastream, air fryer, Bose speaker all available for use
- 1 modern bathroom with bathtub/shower and heating rack

Via public transit, you can easily reach other neighborhoods like Mitte, Friedrichshain, Wedding, and Pankow within 10 minutes. Nearby public transit includes:
- S+U Schönhauser Allee (U2, S41, S42, S8, M1)
- Schönhauser Allee/Bornholmer Straße (M10, M13)

You'll be sharing the apartment with Chris, a 29-year-old data scientist and part of the Berlin startup scene. He's a German native, but speaks English and Spanish fluently as well. He tends to work from home most days and has a home-office set up in the living room. As a roommate, Chris is easy to live with. Quiet, relaxed, and low-maintenance are some words I'd use describe his attitude in the apartment. Though he typically keeps to himself, he's open to chatting and answering any questions you may have, especially as you settle in.
Occasionally, Chris travels for work outside of Berlin. In his absence, he sometimes arranges short-term sublets for his room. This means that you will have occasional guests in the apartment, but they're always respectful and vetted beforehand.
