I am looking for a new flatmate who wants to move in to the second room in my apartment for a few months. Move in date is the 1st of March, move out date is more flexible. Feel free to suggest an alternative duration if that suits you better.
The room itself isn't huge but it's quite long so it fits the furniture surprisingly well. It is already furnished with a bed (that fits perfectly between the two walls at the window), two dressers, clothes rails, a shelf, bedside tables and a mirror. There is definitely still enough room to fit a desk if you'd like.
The kitchen will be fully equipped, but of course you're welcome to bring you own stuff aswell. The kitchen area has enough room to not feel squished in there and you can probably seat around 6 people at the table when having friends over. There's a small balcony attached to the kitchen which can seat 2 people.
The bathroom has daylight and a bathtub shower.
There is no living room in this appartment.
The tram stops a few metres away and it's an 8 minute walk to S-Bahn Schönhauser Allee, so you're basically right next to the Ringbahn which will take you wherever you wish.
You're in Prenzlauer Berg so obviously there's bars, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets everywhere :)
I'm German but open to both German or international flatmates, so I'll stick to English for this text:
I'm a 28 year old psychologist and I work full time in Berlin. I'm usually at work about 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week. I've lived in England and Australia and lots of different cities in Germany.
I love all city-related things (cafes, museums, restaurants, bars, theatre and strolling around with a beer) but I also spend a lot of my free time in nature. I like hiking, cycling, snowboarding, sailing and want to get back into running and swimming. I also like contemporary art, science and following the news.
I follow a predominantly vegan diet and would love to share a good veggie meal, but I don't mind you cooking meat in the kitchen as long as I don't have to eat it :)
I've lived in a number of shared flats before and have always been really lucky with my flatmates, so I kind of have high expectations. It's important to me that we get along well, that I'm interested in you as a person (and vice versa) and that we can have good conversations.
I like it cozy but still very clean and tidy. If you're used to leaving pots and pans in the sink I'm afraid we won't be a good match.
If this sounds like we'd get along, I'd be happy to hear from you.
If you're interested please tell me a bit about yourself and - if you feel comfortable - include links to your socials or photos.
I probably won't have the time to reply to all messages but I'll do my best (and apologize in advance).
