I am heading travelling in Central America for 3 weeks from 23rd September to 14th October and would like to rent out my room in the meantime.
The room is big, bright, colourful and has wooden floors, a sofa bed and a piano. It will of course have all the furniture in it. The ceiling is high and and the windows big. The flat has a large bathroom and an even larger kitchen with a balcony coming off of it. There are pieces of art all over the walls of the communal areas which were collected when the flat was the meeting point for artistic societies in the '90s. There is a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a bath. I share the flat with 3 lovely housemates - Dennis (German graphic designer), Sarah (American opera singer) and Jeremy (British photographer and amazing cook!). It is cool when it's hot out and warm/ cosy when it's cold out.
The building is an Altbau and has a tonne of character. It is wonderfully located just off Kastanienalle on the quieter Schwedter Strasse. There is a Lidl 3 mins walk away and more cafes / restaurants / bars within the vicinity than you could go to. Rosenthalier U8 Ubahn is 8 mins walk (or a 3min tram) and Senefelderplatz U2 Ubahn is 6 mins walk the other way. The tram going to either up to Schoenhauser alle, or down to Hackerscher markt and onto Hauptbahnhof.
The room will cost 450 Euros for the three weeks (no extra charges or bills) and the deposit is 350 Euros which I will give back to you as you leave so long as everything is present and correct and not damaged.
Feel free to give me a call ----/------- to arrange a viewing. I work 9am - 6pm normally but I could show you around during lunchtime if necessary. Evening preferable. I can also speak German if you prefer.
