Me and my partner are looking for a new roommate starting in the first half of December for our apartment in Prenzlauer Berg. We both lived in a bunch of different places (UK, Canada, Hong Kong) before ending up back in Germany. (Wir sprechen auch Deutsch!)
The apartment has a large common room with a kitchen area and a couch. There are two balconies, two bathrooms (one with shower, one with large bath tub). The kitchen has a fridge with a freezer, a stove with an oven, and a dishwasher.
Your room itself will be unfurnished (exception: the current flatmate can sell you her bed and mattress for EUR 300).
The rent in total (warm, and including internet and electricity) is around EUR 600 a month. The earliest move-in date is December 1.
There are two tram stops right in front of the house (M4 and M10). The closest S-Bahn station (Ringbahn, Greifswalder Str) is a ten minute walk away. If you have a bike, there are bike racks in the inner yard.
The closest, small supermarket is a Nahkauf right across the street (2min walk). There are also Rewe and Lidl nearby (7min walk).
Our place was a flat share between friends from the start, and we're looking for a person who likes to live with other people, perhaps including the occasional cup of tea or glass of wine together. We want it to feel like home to all of us.
You'd be living with:
- Julian, 31, works in music technology, loves music, bouldering, and making art
- Alexandra, 30, works in psychology/data science research (last year of PhD), likes plants, books, and hanging upside down
- Marceline, 1, is a cat, likes to jump into boxes and making 'prrrt' sounds instead of 'meow'
