Hello! I'm Jack, and I'm renting a room in my apartment for three months as I'm travelling to the UK for work. I’m flexible, and so there is a strong chance of renting the room until the end of February. I'm an academic who teaches philosophy at a university.
The room is small, but you get use of other areas in the apartment, including the living room, kitchen, home office/workspace...(so you don't only need to stay in your own room). The apartment is fully furnished, and in a beautiful rooftop flat with an amazing view over Berlin.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room has a projector and an AppleTV and sound system for watching movies.
There may be a chance to extend your stay beyond the three months.
10119 Berlin, just off of Kastanienallee, and within sight of Zionskirchplatz. The apartment is exactly on the edge of Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte.
You have easy access to both districts - Kollwitzkiez is a ten minute walk away, and Torstrasse is five minute walk away too.
There are many shops within a five minute walk (Edeka, Denns, BioCompany), as well as super-nice coffee shops, restaurants, and old-school Berlin bars.
Eberswalderstr U-Bahn is a ten minute walk away, Rosenthaler Platz is a six minute walk in the other direction, and the M1 and M12 stop outside of the apartment.
The street is super quiet.
Sharing with one other person... but looking for a quiet, respectful subletter who will take care of things in my apartment while I am away.
I'd be grateful for someone willing to water and care for my plants!
