The room faces onto the courtyard so it is quiet and peaceful. It is bright with white walls and beautiful wooden floors. The furniture in the room is included. The flat as a whole has 3 bedrooms, an equipped shared kitchen and a shared bathroom with a bathtub/shower and washing machine. There is a balcony onto the street from the other two bedrooms, but this room doesn't have a balcony.
The rent for the room will be 590€, but this doesn't include bills which change a little each month, and will be around 30€ to 40€.
We also pay a monthly insurance of 7,33€ each instead of paying a deposit to the landlord, so that there is no requirement to pay a massive deposit and there is no risk of not getting a deposit back.
The apartment is in Sredzkistraße in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg. The street and area is beautiful, with lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby, even within a 1-minute walk. The Kulterbrauerei is a 7-minute walk down the road and Mauerpark is a 20-minute walk away, perfect for Sunday flohmarkts! There is a Lidl 5 minutes away and a Rewe 7 minutes away by foot. Transport links into the centre and across Berlin are brilliant, with the M10, M2 and M4 trams all within 4-minutes walk. The M1 tram is 13 minutes away. Prenzlauer Allee S-bahn station is a 15-minute walk away, where you can get the S42, S41, S8 and S85. Eberswalder Straße is 10 minutes away, where you can catch the U2.
I'm Annie, I have been in this lovely WG since March this year, and am sadly leaving Berlin on 14th August as my study abroad year has come to an end.
The flatmates you will share with are Miguel (24) from the Netherlands and Vega (20) from Sweden. Miguel is a tour guide in Berlin and Vega works at a Swedish bank.
Vega is going to take my room when I move out, so her room will be free on 15th August! We will therefore ask that you pay half of the rent for August, which will be 315,66€ with bills included.
