Hey Yo, and welcome to our place with 6 people in 2 floors apartment. In the beginning, it can sound like it is probably too chaotic, but in reality, it has a pretty cool vibe and relaxed environment in the flat.
The room is going to be available from 01.02.2024 as a sublet for 2 months and then for a long term from 01.04.2024. It is the biggest room in the apartment which is located downstairs. Here we have a kitchen, bathroom, storage room, another bedroom, a balcony, and a sofa space. The kitchen is kind of spacious and has a direct exit to the balcony. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, another balcony and an area where we dry our laundry.
The room itself is quite big 25m2 towards the balcony and has a nice view of the green garden. I am moving upstairs and will grab some furniture from this room.
Important factor, you need to have an official income which is 3x of the original price for the room, which is 385x3=1155 euros, otherwise the landlord wouldn’t approve your documents if it is less!
The flat is on Pohlstraße, it is 6 minutes walk to the Gleisdrieck park, one of the coolest parks in Berlin, a pretty nice area, where you can go for a run/walk, enjoy the atmosphere in general and relax.
The location is very central and well-connected. The subway station Kurfürstenstraße (U1, U3) 5 mins, Blowstraße (U2) 8 mins on the other side Gleisdreieck(U1,U2,U3) 9 mins.
So, we are Tobi, Vincent, Esti, Max, and Ira, who are from Germany, Mexico, France, and Ukraine. Our main language in the flat is English, but you will hear other languages in the flat, which is pretty cool:)
We do not throw crazy parties, but sometimes we gather together and chill in the kitchen, or do some stuff like cooking, movies etc. Since there are a lot of people you will always find someone to talk to and appreciate each other’s space.
You have to be familiar with living in wg and keep the space clean. I would appreciate someone who is not smoking, but it’s not obligatory.
