Just a few minutes Bike ride or U-bahn ride from the Freie Universität Berlin.

The apartment is just a five minute walk from Walter-Schreiber-Platz on the U9 station, just an 8 minute walk from the U3 Breitenbachplatz station, and just a 6 minute walk from the S1 Feuerbachstraße station.
The building is a recently renovated Altbau. There is a beautiful back courtyard and a back patio attached to the apartment, along with a full bath.
the room you would rent is 20 square meters large. The photo's attached were taken just after we moved in which shows the room empty, but it is now fully furnished with a large bed, couch, two dressers, wooden desk, and small bookshelf. The warm rent for the room would be 550 euro's a month, and this would include everything, heat, hot water, electricity, phone, tv, and internet.
If you are looking for a place it would be wonderful for us to meet you.
We're usually free in the evenings and could easily arrange a time for you to come by, see the space, and share a glass of wine or a beer.

Steglitz is in the old American district with lovely tree lined streets and has now become one of the larger shopping districts in Berlin. Everything and anything is available a few minutes walk away, from a large shopping center, grocery stores, parks, nice restaurants, to a large cinema multiplex, and a small independent cinema. Our apartment is also just a few stops away on the U-Bahn and S-bahn from the Free University and the Botanical Garden.
We are both tour guides, and one of us is also an artist and writer.
We are both avid movie and music fans, and love going out to see live music performances and we live together in the apartment with our son.
