The room is fully furnished (desk, chairs, spacious comfortable bunkbed, cupboards, wardrobe). It is situated at a usually very quiet courtyard. It's bright but rarely gets direct sunshine, which means it stays significantly cooler than most places on hot summer days.
rent includes all utilities (water, gas, electricity, internet) - it is rather cheap because the flat is still heated by a coal-burning stove and in general need of some refurbishment (e.g., paintwork for the walls).
the flat isn't that spacious (<55 qm altogether), but you can easily have dinner with one or two friends at the kitchen table.
The flat is situated in a quiet, unpretentious, inviting Kiez mainly composed of nice old buildings inhabited by a heterogenous population ... an independent quality bakery, bars, cafés, pizzerias/restaurants, small varietés, an anarchist vokü, späti with postal service are just around one or two corners. very well connected by metro, s-bahn & bus (U7, S1/2/25, M29). It's a 5 minutes walk to Gleisdreieckpark & Viktoriapark, 15 minutes walk to Tempelhofer Feld. On wednesdays and saturdays there's a farmer's market offering a huge variety of fruits, vegetables and mediterranean/middle eastern foods for little money. Nearby supermarkets: Bio Company, Lidl, Aldi, Edeka.

- socialised in different cultural spheres, I like diy/creating&building stuff, cooking veggie food, music & dancing, social activism, spending the summer at/in/on the water.
- currently, most of the time I'm not around because I work in another city BUT I have been living in this flat for years and I still consider it as my home, so I want to share it with someone reliable who has similar attitudes as to cleaning, waste, and so on.
- you can use my balcony when I'm not around (=most of the time except for about one or two long weekends per month)
