The room itself is big (20qm), has 2 windows with lovely wide wooden window sills, and original wooden flooring. It's empty in the photos, but I have since partly furnished the room with a double bed, chest of drawers and a clothes rail, and small sofa-bed.
The room is on the other side of the hall to our rooms, with a very thick wall separating, so noise doesn't travel too much.
It is ground floor, but the room looks out into the corner of the Hof, nobody is walking past the windows, and they are raised anyway, so you can't see in from the ground level outside.
We have a lovely flat, technically in Schöneberg, but on the boarder to Kreuzberg too. Easy walking distance either to Akazien Kiez or Bergmannstrasse. Gleisdreieck Park is right on the doorstep and great public transport links with the U7 and S1/S2 to Mitte or Neukölln.
We are a Mama (30) and a 3 year old boy. We are looking for someone understanding of the day to day of kid life... it's sometimes very loud (and sometimes that's very early) and sometimes we need it to be quiet (during bed time for example).
I understandably can only offer a 3 month contract to start with, as a mama I have to be cautious, but we are looking for someone for the long term really, to welcome into our home.
