In this very large 101 m² apartment I have an extra 21m² room with a balcony available. As the living situation in Berlin is bullshit, it's only fair to offer it for someone in need and having people around is also fun :D
To give more people the opportunity of finding at least some place to live for some time, it's only short rent!
So I would like to offer this room to you in my apartment :)

I am writing this in English even though I am German, but so more people can understand it.

Your room has everything you need:
- large balcony, two windows + a huuuge window
- a large wardrobe, a desk with chairs
- a 180x200 bed with a mattress, hygienic mattress protector, sheets and pillows
- cable TV on a small TV and WiFi of course
It's super cozy even on wintery/rainy days!
The apartment has free for you to use:
- Washing machine, bathtub, two toilets
- stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, Sodastream, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, cups, cooking utensils
- Fastest WiFi available in Germany
- Large TV with Cable TV, Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube Premium & Music.
- Vacuum cleaning robot & normal vacuum cleaner
To FU Berlin you can walk (25 mins) or take a bus (20 mins) or a bicycle (7 mins).
To TU / HU Berlin and most other places to Berlin you will usually take less than 45 mins by public transport or bike.
A bus brings you to Berlin's busiest shopping street (Schlossstraße) within 15 minutes with lots of shopping centres and a cinema. Another one goes directly to Zehlendorf or S1 in the west of Berlin or even all the way to S-Lichterfelde-Ost and S-Schöneweide in the far east of Berlin. Busses go all night every day and towards the S-Bahn S1 (you can also walk about 900m) , S-Bahn goes all night on the weekend. For partying you take 40-50 mins to Warschauer Straße or to Ostkreuz. To come back usually takes less than an hour at night time.
The next supermarket is around 800m (Lidl until 21:00) and by bus (Edeka until midnight). Once per week or so we can take my car and go to the large supermarket (Kaufland) for some bigger shopping together. There is a petrol station across the street, also open on Sundays.
We do actually have a very nice vacuum cleaning robot, which does 95% of the vacuuming. We do have a dishwasher and I will always take care of putting all the dirty stuff into it. Would be cool if you could take care of taking all the clean stuff out of it and putting it into the cupboards. This would be your only real task in the apartment. The washing machine & shower are directly next to my bedroom, so it would be nice to keep them to times when I am awake :)
Except for fish I eat almost entirely vegetrarian, you could call me pescatarian. I loooove sushi and cheese <3 If there is no pandemic I usually eat a lot at the uni Mensa, but now I cook more and we can also cook together or we each prepare our own food.
I try to be tidy, which works actually quite good most of the time! But sometimes due to time pressure at university it can get a bit messy, but I am making a big effort for it never getting dirty and tidy up on the next weekend! You should try to be a not-too-loud person and tidy with your belongings, keeping them mostly to your room, because if we both left our stuff lying everywhere, it would be too much maybe :)

It's a me: Martin! I have been living most of my life in the southwest of Berlin and I am until 2022 PhDing my way through Physics with ultrafast spectroscopy, a.k.a. Lasers 'n' shit :D Pew pew pew :D
About me:
I usually leave home weekdays between 9:00-11:00 and come back 18:0-22:00. I am usually home on the weekends watching Netflix or go bouldering (when it will be allowed again) or visit my family or friends. I like to go out Fr/Sa evenings to go, partey partey in the city or with friends (when it will be allowed again). So if you are also into that, feel free to join!
