The room is wonderfully bright and faces a very quiet southern courtyard. Sunlight shines in all day through a large window, offering a view of a green, shared garden. It contains a large wardrobe filled with our clothes, which unfortunately we cannot remove for the duration of your stay. However, there will be storage space available for your belongings. A huge, cozy 2x2 meter bed is provided. Additionally, a baby cot could be made available if needed.
Two people can also live in the room. A small family with a child would also be warmly welcomed.
Steglitz is a quintessential West Berlin district. Even though it's located quite far south in the city, the district is very lively with numerous shopping opportunities, restaurants, and cafes. Connectivity to "hot spots" like Schöneberg, Kreuzberg, or Mitte is very quick and easy. It's almost as if you fall out of your apartment door right into the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations. A number of buses depart from just around the corner. The shopping mile "Schlossstraße," with a wide selection of stores, is also just around the corner. You have everything you need for daily life immediately nearby.
Me, my husband, and our little daughter share a huge apartment with our long-time friend Chrissy. The three of us sleep in the room that is available for rent, as we will be traveling for a while. We all also use the large, beautiful living room and a big dining room together. As well as the bathroom and kitchen, of course.
Our roommate Chrissy stays in another room in the apartment. He is very rarely there because he travels a lot for work. When he is around, we are always happy to see each other. We play cards with friends, enjoy a cozy beer, and plan parties together. The apartment is very spacious and allows for plenty of private space.
