We are an Australian couple, both 28, who have just signed a lease for a beautiful big Altbau in Tempelhof, and we are looking for a flatmate to take one of the rooms.
The 3.5 room apartment is partially furnished, and comes with a fireplace, floorboards/parquet floors, a balcony, an inbuilt kitchen and private access to a garden area. There is also a small extra room with a loft that would be perfect as a study/extra room for guests.
The lease is until the end of August 2025, with sadly no option of extending (at this stage).
We are looking for someone who we connect well with, and who is happy to work with us to make this apartment a comfortable and enjoyable home.
In your message, tell us a bit about yourself, what you're looking for in a housemate, and what you enjoy doing on weekends and after work :)
Anmeldung is possible, no problems. Proof of income would be great, just so we know you can pay the rent ;)
Strong preference for anyone who can visit this weekend (11.05, 12.05) and who can move in right away.
We speak English but are learning German, so extra points if you speak both and/or can be patient while we learn :)
