Looking for preferably a female flatmate (from 28 up) from June 2024.
I am renting a very quiet cozy room in a 2 and sometimes 3 women WG for at least 6 months ir longer (long-term) for a mature, responsible and warm hearted person.
Advantages of the room - has a good comfortable bed and a sofa, so as few antique furniture pieces and a spacious wardrobe. Very quiet. Tempelhofer field is 10 min away by bike. There's a canal excellent for jogging, 3 min away by foot. The area is fill of parks. The apartment has very good equipment (hoover, printer, water filter, pots, etc). The cleanliness standard is high. It's very good for people who just have a suitcase with essentials. Anmeldung is no problem. Online viewing is possible after tge first selection. The price might be slightly lower depending on the new calculation of bills.
I am a 49 (f), speak many languages, curious about neuroscience, physics, medicine, literature. I am interested generally in humanity, so I like to get to know people, have talks on everything, thinking together and sharing impressions of the day. This is sort of resistance to the big city busyness - finding refuge in nice everyday moments of shared living. However, most of the time I'm gone abroad working on a project in Italy, but I come once in a while for couple of months in winter. So most of the time you would be in a 2 people WG.
Your flatmate will be Sadaf (34f) from Iran, a PhD in Chemistry, working in a startup. She is cheerful, friendly and respectful.
We have a warm and cordial atmosphere at home, so it's not a utilitarian WG (Zweck Wg), but also a place where you can relax as a human being, where there will be someone who will ask how you are doing.
Please get back to me if you consider yourself a mature, respectful and warm hearted person who can also do simple things, like switching off the light, locking the apartment door, closing windows, cleaning after yourself. I prefer female candidates, but your outstanding personality can be a good reason to ignore this selection criteria.

Tempelhof is an underrated and not very well known - has beautiful parks around, a port with boats, canal with small gardens around, Tempelhofer Feld is just 10 min bike ride from here. All shopping possibilities in 5 min distance (shopping mall of Tempelhof). U-bahn in 5 min (Ullsteinstr.). Nearby is also a famous neighborhood center Ufa Fabrik with a lot of offers for workshops, has a huge beer garden.

15 min to Kreuzberg / Bergmannstr by bike
10 min to Tempelhofer Feld
5 min to shopping center
2 min to the canal

I was born in Lithuania, (f49) but studied and lived in Germany and in many other places of the world for a long time. Thus I learned a lot of languages and travel for work and adventure a lot. In the past two years I lived in Italy and now work on a project there during the warm season. I like to share meals, have a nice chat in the kitchen. I tend to a rather Mediterranean style of being. Kindness, lightness of living and jokes should not be missing in our every day life! I am interested in adventure stories, arts, politics, neuroscience, experimental music, buddhist ideas, cycling.
I expect the person to engage is some balance of socialising with everybody and having own time. In WG constellations before we did not plan our times together, it just happened in the kitchen. But we can also plan things if it feels like it! It should not feel like a Zweck WG (living together only for functional purpose)... Thus, it would be really cool if you would like to share a meal once in a while or want to commit a bit of time to go out for a beer or a walk.

The place is clean and cleaning happens in a rotating manner.

- to ask for feedback what can be improved
- to be hospitable for people who might visit the house
- to offer a meal or a drink once in a while
- to eat usually in the kitchen (and not in your room, although it is ok with exceptions)
