Two small room available in a beautiful WG with lots of common space ❤
Long-term, west of Tempelhofer Feld, with 6 people in total.

We're looking for two wonderful human beings that wants to join us in calling the castle their home.

WG CULTURE

We're a queer, fun, and friendly bunch of people that aims to live together as friends and tries to be there for each other. From heartbreaks to celebrating our successes, we believe in being present for each other and in making time for the people we call home.

There's a balanced mix between communal living and personal space. Besides moments of being by ourselves, we enjoy having dinner feasts with friends, fiery board game nights & mellow music jam sessions by the fire.

We come from different parts of the world and have different cultural upbringings and values. We communicate openly and mindfully about everyday topics like cleanliness to hosting a house-party and strive to deal with small issues quickly. We're all aged 30 - 40 and are ideally looking for people around that age bracket.

We have flatmates and friends who are queer and POC, and we accept no form of racism, sexism, and no discriminatory attitude in whatever form.

This is not a party-flat. While we don't judge people for their substance use, we're a pretty sober bunch of people and are looking for someone who is aligned with that lifestyle.

LOOKING FOR

We're looking for people that resonates with this WG culture. Someone that's in Berlin most of the time (including winter). We invite a person that cares for roommates and for the space itself. The flat is spacious and comes with responsibilities to be seen and handled like cleaning the communal area, maintenance, watering the green and plants, etc.

THE FLAT

The flat is very spacious: we have 3 floors, a garden, a big living room/kitchen for communal use as well as a fireplace. The kitchen and living room are self-built and have lots of character. There are 2 bathrooms. One with an amazing shower and one with a bathtub (and many candles). Around the house are many parks, grocery options, as well as a pharmacy, hospital and bakeries. There are good connections into town and Tempelhofer Feld is just minutes bike ride away

ROOM:1

The room is small with high ceilings and a high bed (with no mattress at the moment). In the photo you can see the ladder going up on the right side. Some of the furniture might stay (although it's different from how it's displayed in the photos).

ROOM:2

The room is equally small and has a low bed (which is included). It has a window that faces the backyard. It has built-in cabinet space, a small desk to work from, and is very cute.

CONDITIONS

Room 1 availability: from 1 February 2023.
Room 2 availability: from 1 March 2023 (or sooner if you want).

Viewings: in the evening of 17 January. Ideally you're there in person, but a video call works, too.

Rent: €430 per month warm (might change because of the energy crisis)
Deposit: 1 month rent
Duration: The room is long-term. We don't do a trial period or that sort of thing, but if it really doesn't work out somehow, we'd expect you to be open to having a conversation about separating ways.
