The room is very bright thanks to large, west-facing windows. It's big at 20m2, and it's away from the street so it’s very quiet at night. The room is already furnished but emptied of all other possessions. There's still plenty of space if you have your own furniture too. The bed in the photo has been replaced with a double bed, so you will have a double bed if you rent the room.
It's available from November 1st for 9 moths (until the end of July), WITH A CONTRACT AND ANMELDUNG. The rent price will be 500 Euro in total, including all bills.
Weissensee lake is only 10 minutes walk away. Pasedagplatz tram stop is just behind the building - less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. From there you can get to Alex in 25 minutes, and central Friedrichshain in about 30 minutes. Weissensee Burgerampt, a post office, a Netto and a small Rewe are all 5-10 minutes walk away.
Hi, my name's Will. I'd be living at the other end of the hall from you. I'm British, and I enjoy swimming in the lake or having a beer in my spare time. I'm very tidy and I try to be polite and considerate of flatmates/neighbors…. On the plus side I'm not a terrible cook. It'd be nice to have a friendly social environment in the flat, while still respecting each others' need for peace and quiet sometimes. Please no anti-vax or covid deniers. If you don't believe in vaccinations you've basically rejected reason and science. Also, sorry but no couples - the room can only be rented by one person.
The flat owner wants proof that the rent can be paid, so it’s difficult if your are not currently in employment 😅. The contract would be for 9 months. We're only interested in someone who wants the room for the entire time. Two months notice will be required to terminate the contact early. The deposit will be two months total rent (1000 Euro).
