Niederländischer Filmstudent sucht ein WG in Berlin :)

Hallo alle!

Zum ersten: in der Schule habe ich drei Jahre lang die deutsche Sprache gelernt. Wie du lesen kannst, ist es nicht so gut mehr... Aber ich möchte gerne die Sprache besser lernen. Ich werde jetzt auf Englisch fortfahren :).

My name is Janine de Swart, 22 years old and I study Media and Culture at the University of Amsterdam. I’ve been living in Amsterdam for about three years and I absolutely love it. I share a house in the north of Amsterdam with three other girls. We love to do lots of fun stuff together, like cook/bake, watch series/films, go to the cinema, go out to eat and have drinks in the city centre, party or just do homework. I am searching for something similar in Berlin. A nice WG with fun people who would like to get to know eachother, do fun stuff together and enjoy the amazing city that is Berlin.

So I study Media and Culture in Amsterdam. The second year I chose a specific path in these studies: film studies. Film has always inspired me so much.When going to the cinema, I really like to see horror films. Never alone though! I’m actually always very scared and scream at every jumpscare. But I love the adrenaline that it gives me.

April the 1st I will move to Berlin. I will be studying film studies at the Freie Universität. I will stay until the 31st of July and then move back to Amsterdam. I am so excited to come to Berlin and get to know this amazing city.
Some more about myself: I describe myself as a happy, positive, enthousiastic, friendly and outgoing girl. But OF COURSE there are also some negative characteristics… Are you ready? I am chaotic, a perfectionist and stress about everything. So that’s me in a nutshell.

I really love cooking and baking, going to the cinema, watching films/series, going out with friends, swimming, dancing, listening to music, singing and acting. And of course eating, eating, eating…. I’m always in for new adventures and new things to try out!
