Looking for a room or an apartment *minimum 4-5 months*

Hi everyone, I am looking for a room or an apartment in Berlin from the beginning of August 2021.

I am Italian, 45, freelance videographer/filmmaker. I lived in London for 20 years, 5 years in Zurich and I decided is now time to try Berlin! I have loads of friends in London and Barcelona so I like to spend weekends there whenever I can.

I mostly do corporate videography work as paid jobs, but I always like to collaborate on personal projects with other filmmakers, actors, models, dancers and various artists. I also do some animation and 3D work and am interested in digital art. I also completed a feature length film.

In regard to music, I like various artists, from Max Richter to Charlotte Cardin, Kevin Morby and Crazy P. I do like electronic music (although techno is a bit too fast for me!). I used to dj, make music and have my own parties in London. I would say my clubbing days are behind me, but I still do like the occasional good party to go to! I have an easy-going and friendly personality and don’t take myself too seriously. I am respectful and non-judgemental. I have some political views that could be summed-up with one sentence: “Live and let live!” If you need someone to talk to, you can always count on me.

Ideally, I am looking for an apartment on my own or to share an apartment with 1 or 2 people max, over 30 years old, with similar interests so that we have something to talk about and maybe even work on some projects together for fun (but of course not a must), go for some beers together, and maybe cook (which I like doing – I enjoy a mixed diet of everything), or do some other social activities together. A temporary solution would also work. Minimum 4-5 month so I will have time to look for a long term apartment.

I am not big on doing sports (although I am a big football fun), but I do enjoy going to the gym early morning to run and exercise. I speak English, Italian, a little French and I plan to start learning German too.

For an apartment minimum 65-70 sqr mtrs, max 1500 Euros warm rent. For a room preferably from 20-25 square mtrs up. Warm rent max 800 Euros (could be slightly more if the room is really big). Locations: Kruezberg/ Neukolln. Will also consider Prenzlaurberg, Mitte.
