Friendly Student Looking for a Flatshare!

Happy to hear of places in other neighborhoods, but particularly interested in Prenzlauer or Wedding area :)

I'm originally from northern California, but am now completing my master's degree here in Berlin! In the upcoming semester, I will be chugging away at my thesis, working as a nanny, and looking for another job more connected to my field of History (ahh the struggle). Most recently, I studied in Cairo for their fall semester and am now back in Berlin.

(I'm learning German, but not quite confident enough in my abilities to introduce myself auf Deutsch, so will proceed in just English.)

As a little more about me:
I've lived in Berlin for about 2 1/2 years in a shared apartment and on my own, so I'm totally comfortable with a flatshare-type lifestyle.

As perhaps many say when introducing themselves, (but is nonetheless true haha!), I enjoy cooking, baking, and often experimenting a bit with recipes. It's always more pleasant to share food and chats with flatmates (also so I don't end up eating an entire pie by myself), so would be happy to cook and eat together occasionally. I respect privacy and know we all have our own lives going on.

I don't smoke and appreciate living in a smoke-free environment. I keep my space clean & organized, and am comfortable with either structured plans or informal chats regarding cleaning.

I bike around Berlin as much as possible and soak up the sunshine while it's out! Overall, I try to take opportunities to experience other countries, whether moving there or just visiting (although at the moment, I'm sticking around Berlin for a good while). And I especially love hiking through mountains and just wandering around new places.
