Moin :)
the room is ~14 square meters and has 2 windows pointing towards the street. there is a loft bed (platform 200x200, mattress 140x200) on one side of the room at a height of around 180cm. The loft bed has curtains on two sides (the ones without a wall) which can be closed completely and make you feel comfi.
Beneath is a platform with another mattress right next to the window where you can sit, sleep, chill, enjoy your coffee or what comes to your mind and watch the Kotti. There is also a couch beneath the loft bed.
The other side of the room has a desk with a screen and active speakers. There's a flat screen mounted to the wall, you can use it to watch movies or series from the bed, couch or floor.
The flat is a two (2) minutes walk from the metro station Kottbussertor. There is everything around the place max 5min away by foot. You can find almost everything, Rewe, Lidl, and Edeka are the closest supermarkets, or different turkish supermarkets and also markets next to the Maybachufer, which is a 5min walk from the flat.
Secret tip, you have the best sudanese food in town next to your door! :)
You'll be living in a shared Flat with 3 other roommates. We sometimes eat or sit together in the kitchen and talk or have karaoke evenings with other friends as well. Otherwise your flatmates usually do stuff in their rooms, but everyone is very welcoming and you can always join and talk with them, everyone's usually pretty chill.
The flat isn't too big, a bit chaotic sometimes and not the cleanest one from time to time, there's no cleaning schedule but if someone mentions discomfort or initiates a cleaning everyone helps. There's a balcony connected to two of the rooms (the ones of your roommates) but you can almost always access it if you wish so, just a matter of communication!
The Kitchen has enough space to cook and sit there, tho it's not the biggest one. We have 2 bathrooms - a bigger one with bathtube/shower, toilet and laundry machine; and a smaller one with just a toilet and sink.
Political wise we're all more on the lefty side in the shared flat :)
I'm away on a bicycle tour for some time and I know that living space in Berlin is very limited. It's not said that I'll be back in the set time, so it might be that I'll be away for longer, meaning you can eventually stay longer. In case I come back earlier you will of course have the flat until end of mai!
if you have any questions about the flat or location or what ever let me know, I'll try to answer as best as I can. My Roomies will want to meet upfront to get to know you, but you can move in asap afterwards.
The rent is per month.
