The building has recently been renovated, so it's comfortable inside and warm in the winter. You don't pay any additional fee for heat, water, and electricity. Now the room is equipped with a desk, a chair, a bed, a sofa, a closet, two small dressers, a mirror, et cetera. The original lighting is dim, but I brought a big and bright standing light and it works very well.
The dining kitchen has a nice view and each flatmate can use her own fridge.
This flat is right next to the campus of Bielefeld University (you can even consider it as a *part* of the campus).
From the Bielefeld central station (Hauptbahnhof) it takes about ten minutes by tram to the Universitäts station. And the flat is just one or two minutes' walk. This is a great location, because many of other student apartments are far away from the campus. Some takes almost one and a half hour round trip everyday.
Because you don't need to take tram to go home, you can stay in the university library as late as you want without safety issues. You will save money because the university dining halls are so close and your own room is also very reachable.
Beside shops, cafes, restaurants, and snack bars in the campus, there are two decent supermarkets nearby.
The flat is shared by two persons. Each has exclusive access to her own room. The kitchen and the bathroom are shared.
The current flatmate is a female student. She has a good command of German and English. She wants the new tenant to come from the same gender. She prefers a clean and organized person, so she also wants the tenant to be older than second-year bachelor student at least. Thanks for your understanding.
She is very quiet and always keeps the shared space clean. Each flatmate is supposed to clean the shared space every other week.
The room harbors a desk, a chair, a bed, a sofa, a closet, and two smaller dressers (plus an old television). In the kitchen you'll find a fridge and enough space to keep your dishes, kitchenware, and food.
Because I cannot bring my furniture with me, the new tenant is supposed to take over them at 200 euro. You are invited to see the room condition when we have a meeting.
My contract ends by the end of September, but I can move out earlier, so we can discuss details.
Lastly, this is a student apartment of Bielefeld University (I am obliged to find the next tenant myself), so the new tenant must be either a bachelor or master's student of Bielefeld University.
If you find this offer meets your demand, feel free to contact me via email. Thank you.
