Hallo Du,
Hello there,
There will be another room available in our shared flat from April 1st. It's not easy for us to say goodbye - but of course we're also looking forward to welcoming a new person who wants to live with us!
For your information: we are looking for a FLINTA* person (i.e. women, lesbians, inter*, non-binary, trans* and agender people).
The room is approx. 17 square meters in size, square and therefore very practical. As this is an old building, the ceilings are high. The furniture in the dormitory includes a desk with chair, a small mobile container, a shelf and a closet. In this room there is also a loft bed (2.0 m wide), which you would have to take over for a discount of 200 €. (It is also possible to take over a sofa table and curtains to darken the room for a discount).
The nice thing about the room is that it has two huge window fronts. :)
In addition to the spacious kitchen, we also have two identical bathrooms in the shared flat, each with a toilet, washbasin and shower.
The rent is about 320 €. As the service charges are always calculated exactly, the price varies depending on whether it is summer or winter. In addition, there are monthly costs for GEZ (divided by all) and internet (7€). There are washing machines and dryers in the basement, which can be used for a fee.
Location
Our shared flat is very centrally located: The Kesselbrink is about 5 minutes walk and in 8 minutes you can reach the main train station and the subway station there. The city center and supermarkets (Combi, Aldi, Rewe) are also within walking distance. There are also numerous snack bars and small stores nearby.
Life in our flat
And now about us. We are Cansu, Ivan, Zeenia and Julian. :)
Cansu (28) is studying sociology and is interested in politics. She likes dancing, cooking, deep conversations and beauty routines.
Ivan is working as a researcher at Uni Bielefeld. He enjoys exploring new places through walks. On the weekend meeting with friends, going dancing, or simply enjoying a coffee and chat are great ways to relax and socialize for him.
Zeenia (22) is currently doing her Master's at the TH OWL in Lemgo. She likes cooking, eating, good conversation and long walks.
Julian (28) is studying social sciences. He is politically active in his free time, but also enjoys going to the gym or meeting up with friends. He listens to a lot of music, but is quite quiet thanks to 24/7 headphones in his ears.
In our shared flat, it's important to all of us that we don't live next door to each other, but that there is a familiar atmosphere and that we always have nice conversations in our shared kitchen, in addition to the everyday eating/cooking. There's a sofa here, which adds to the coziness despite the lack of a living room. Depending on who is there at the time, we chat in English or German. If it suits, we also like to cook and eat together - you are welcome to join us. Of course, in addition to spending time together, it is also important to us that everyone has their own space to retreat to.
We are happy to welcome anyone who would like to live together in a shared flat! What is important to us is solidarity with one another, consideration for the free space of others, a desire to spend time together and a willingness to help with the cleaning schedule and keeping the shared rooms clean.
We don't want any racism, homophobia, transophobia, sexism, right-wing attitudes or other forms of hostility.
