Dein Zimmer ist ca. 34 m^2 groß und befindet sich in einer ehemaligen Papierfabrik, dem heutigen Künsterl*innenhaus Artists Unlimited. Der dynamischen 4er WG stehen fast eine ganze Etage zur Verfügung und damit ca 240 m^2. Durch die riesige 8 m lange Industriefensterfront kriegst du nicht nur morgens herrlichen Sonnenschein ins Zimmern, sondern hast den ganzen Tag traumhaftes Licht. Dein Zimmer ist als Wohnatelier ausgeschrieben, es darf also richtig darin gearbeitet werden. Ich würde es gerne möbliert (ohne Matratze) vermieten, da ich im April selbst wieder rein möchte. Auch eine Vermietung als reiner (gemeinschafts-) Atelier ist denkbar.

The subletted room is about 34 m^2 big and is located a former paper fabric, now the artists space Artists Unlimited. Because of the huge windows you not only get sunlight in the morning but also super nice lighting the whole day. The room is ment to be a mixture between living space and studio and will be subletted furnished (without mattress). Maybe you can also use it as a collective studio space.
Die Wohnung befindet sich bei Artists Unlimited, ist also ultra zentral in Bielefeld. Öffis sind in 3 min (Haltestelle Marktstraße) bzw. 5 min (Rathaus) zu erreichen. Direkt im Haus ist das Milestones und wartet mit leckeren Drinks auf dich. Außerdem ist Antep direkt gegenüber. Außerdem gibt es eine Galerie direkt im Haus. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit Rewe, Lidl, Aldi und Combi 5 min zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad zur genüge vorhanden.

The appartment is located within the artists collective Artists Unlimited, so right in the center of Bielefeld. Public transportation in 3 min (Marktstraße) or 5 min (Rathaus) by foot and from there you are in 6 min at FH Bielefeld Gestaltung or in10 min at the university). In the house there the cafe/bar milestones with nice drinks and food. Rihgt across the street there is famous Antep. Moreover we got our own gallery in the house. Supermarkets (Rewe Lidl Aldi) are just 5 min by foot or bike away)
Das WG Leben ist sehr freundschaftlich und harmonisch. So richtig absehbar wie es in der Zeit aussieht, ist es aber gerade nicht, da Malte und Fabi eben für ein halbes Jahr ins Praktikum nach Hamburg bzw, Auslandssemester nach Israel gehen. Außerdem wird Kathrin bald Ausziehen. Du wirst also hauptsächlich mit Nina und Aimilia und zwei Katzen zusammenwohnen. Nina und Aimilia studieren beide im 6. Semester Fotografie und sind einfach super. Zusammen wird gerne mal bouldern gegangen und Ausstellungen besucht/organisiert.

The interaction in the flat is very harmonic and we are basically all friends. But since Malte and Fabi will both be away for half a year and Kathrin will move out soon there will be a lot of change.
Basically you will live with Nina, Amilia and her both cats. Both (not the cats) are studying Photograph in the 6th semester and are super cool. Sometime we do stuff together like bouldering, visiting or organizing exhibitions.
Um hier wohnen zu können ist eine künstlerische Praxis absolut erforderlich. Dabei ist es egal ob darstellend oder bildend. Außerdem sind die Wege zu den anderen hier lebenden/arbeitend Künstler*innen sehr kurz und man hilft sich gerne aus. Weitere Vorzüge des Hauses: Galerie, Plakatwand, Pizzaofen, Garten/Innenhof.

To live here some kind of an artistic practice in mandatory. Moreover it is nice to live/work here because of the short way to other artists here, the gallery or the billboard where we can exhibit/curate exhibition, and theres the garden with the pizzaoven. yes you heard right, a pizzaoven!!!
