Int'l researcher seeking temp accommodation near RUB, Sep-Dec '23

Hi! My name is Sri and I am originally from Indonesia, but flitted between living in Europe, North America, and Asia before coming to work in Belgium as a researcher. I am quiet and tidy non-smoker who prefers to cook, listen to music, and sing in a choir. I speak English, Dutch, French, and Bahasa Indonesia (my mother tongue). I understand some German and could get by in the two weeks I was previously in Bochum, but any chance to improve my language skills is always welcome :).

My plan: I will be going to Bochum for a 3-month research visit from September to December 2023. I envision spending most of my time at my host institute, and using the accommodation as a home base and respite for the weekend. So I am looking for a room in a shared accommodation, or a 1-room apartment/studio around Bochum.
