WG room in Friesdorf/Bad Godesberg

The flat is around a 6min walk from a bus stop with 2 bus lines and also the night bus, so it is easily accessible by bus. Bad Godesberg station is also around a 25 minute walk/a 10 minute cycle away from the flat with many cycle lanes and cycle routes- these trains go around every 20 mins. The Stadtbahn is also around a 15 min walk with them going round every 10 mins/20 mins till early in the morning. There is an Aldi a 5 min walk from the WG, and also a Lidl another 5 min walk from there. There's also lots of shops in Bad Godesberg relatively nearby

Von der WG braucht man ca. 6 minuten zu Fuß bis zur Bushaltestelle inklusive Nachtbus, der Zugang zum öffentlichem Nahverkehr steht kein Problem da. Bad Godesberg Bahnhof ist nur 25 minuten zu fuß oder 10 minuten mit dem Rad entfernt. Es gibt noch viele weitere Radwege. Die Stadtbahn ist ca. 15 minuten zu fuß entfernt und sie fährt ca. jede 10 minuten bis 1 Uhr Nachts. Es gibt einen Aldi und Netto 5 Minuten entfernt und Lidl nochmal 5 Minuten mehr von da. Es gibt auch viele weitere Geschäfte in Bad Godesberg.

English:
I live with another student in the WG, as well as two guys that are working. We get along really easily, and they all like gaming, and occasionally we also play games on Sunday.

The kitchen, bathroom, and toilet are shared, but are kept pretty clean. I've never had a problem with the cleanliness. There's also a washing machine (2 in total), 1 washer-dryer, and a dishwasher (my saviour!). The attic can also used for drying clothes, and there is a basement to store some things if neccesary. One of the rooms also has a balcony that looks onto the forest which we sometime use for grills.

I have been a student at the University of Bonn for my year abroad, and it's been great that the flatmates are welcoming and can always have a conversation and would enjoy also having another international student as they can speak good English, but they are also happy to have another German in the WG. I've really found this flat a really good choice overall as student, and therefore I would like to move back into this room in the summer of next year (no set dates yet), to come and do my master's here.

In der WG wohnt noch ein weiterer Student, die anderen beiden gehen arbeiten. Wir kommen untereinander wunderbar klar, und hier hat keiner was gegen games oder so. Manchmal kommt man auch am Sonntag oder so zusammen.


Die Küche, Badezimmer und Toilette werden geteilt, und gemeintschaftlich sauber gehalten. Ich hatte gar keine Probleme mit dem Sauberkeit der WG. Es gibt eine Waschmachine, Wäschetrockner und Spülmaschine! Es gibt einen Dachboden, den man zum Trocken von Kleidung zusätzlich verwendet werden kann. Es gibt auch einen Keller, der zur Aufbewahrung einiger Dinge verwendet werden kann. Eins der WG Zimmer hat auch ein Balkon, den wir manchmal für Grills benutzen- er bietet auch eine Aussicht auf den Wald hinter dem Haus.

Ich habe mein Auslandsjahr hier in Bonn studiert und die Mitbewohnern sind freundlich und ich könnte immer eine Konversation mit Ihnen haben, aber natürlich, wenn man in ihrer Zimmer bleiben wollen, dann das passt auch. Sie können auch Englisch und würde es gut finden, wenn sie einer anderer Internationale Mitbewohner*in finden. Aber passt es auch, wenn du bist ein*e Deutsche*r. Ich bin so glücklich, dass ich diese WG gefunden hatte. Ich fand es perfekt als Student, deswegen will ich im Sommer 2024 zurückziehen um meinen Masters hier zu machen.
