There is a large unfurnished room available in Bad Godesberg suitable for two people. The rent is 680 Euros and the deposit is 1360 Euros. The room currently has only a bed and a large number of shelves mounted on the walls. The bed maybe taken over (negotiable price) however, the room currently does not have any furniture. You are of course free to equip it as you see fit. The room has floor and wall heating and is extremely comfortable.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, large induction stove, and plenty of place to store your plates and utensils. Next to the kitchen is a dining room with a dining table suitable for atleast 4 people. There is also a washing machine available. Also the WiFi access is included within the price. The toilet is shared by 3 people: the two people in this room and another person. You can smoke outside the main areas of the house though it is recommended to have an ashtray nearby.
Don't be intimidated by the number of people living in the house. The house is large and doesn't feel crowded in the least. Plus, the room is situated a little away from the main common areas such as kitchen and dining room and is never noisy.
While the price and deposit may seem large, it can actually be shared between 2 people (It used to be shared between me and a roommate). I pay 340 Euros per month for example and paid 680 Euros in deposit initially.
The WG is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood between Venner Str. and WaldStr. The 615 bus from both bus stops runs every 20 minutes and can take you to Bad Godesberg Zentrum in 8 minutes. There you have access to Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Action, Woolsworth, Movie Theatre and a number of other shops, bars, restaurants and coffee shops and also the Bad Godesberg Bahnhoff for easy access to Bahns and U-Bahns to Bonn Hbf and other places (20 minutes on U-Bahn and 8 minutes on Bahn). Also located extremely nearby is the Stadwahl Krankenhaus which maybe useful for medical emergencies. The house is located in a rather beautiful and safe area.
The WG has students and working professionals inhabiting it from a variety of nationalities. We are all very easy going and get along well together and like to sometimes cook and share a meal together. Ofcourse if that's not your thing and you would rather be spend time alone, it is also an extremely quite place and is perfectly suitable for your purposes.
