The room is on 2 floors. On the lower floor is a desk and a dining-area. Through a staircase you can reach the higher level with the sleeping area. The room is mostly furnished with new furniture.
You would be sharing the large daylight bath with another roommate, who has her room opposite from yours. The bath has a tub, shower and toilet.
In the spacious kitchen is a separate fridge and kitchen cabinet to be shared by you and the other roommate. The kitchen is completely furnished and equipped.
The washing machine can be used. If you wish, we can provide you with towels and bed linen.
Actually, you only need to bring a suitcase with cloths – the rest is available at the house :-)
We also have a large garden
The house is centrally located, only a few minutes walking distance away from stores, restaurants, movies, theatre and main roads. Public transportation is almost next door (2 bus lines). It takes 5 minutes to get to the city center by bus (and about 20 minutes by foot). The main university canteen is around the corner.
You don’t need a car to get around but if you have one, there is enough opportunity for parking.
The location is a perfect mix of urban living and parks and greens close by.
So far there are four women/girls living in our shared house:
- me. I work fulltime in cologne and try to build a startup which is why I am not home often. If I do, I usually work at my desk.
- my daughters (12+14 years old) who go to school and are at their fathers house 50% of the week.
- another roommate who will be moving in at the same time
- a white German shepherd dog who stays overnight every once in a while
Usually it is very quiet at our house (when we are at work, the kids are with their father or at school, in the evening) and sometimes it is more lively (usually in the afternoon).
Of course we are convinced that we are really nice people and that it is quite easy to get along with us
We are looking for a female with a good sense of humor, who is open and friendly.
We wouldn’t mind if she was fond of more or less normal sleeping hours :-)
