Apologies for writing in English - my German is terrible! The room will be available between 15 November and 31 January while I am doing research in Bangladesh for my Master's thesis. It might be available slightly earlier but we would need to negotiate this :).
The room comes fully furnished with a bed, a large clothes hanger, a big desk and desk chair, a very comfy armchair (perfect for reading) and a great electric piano. The window faces out onto the street and, as we are on the top floor on a quiet street, noise is not an issue.
As you can see from the pictures, the flat itself is great - we have a big living room with a dining table and projector (perfect for movie nights); a nice big kitchen; and, more generally, lots of room for hanging out or having a cosy evening. Plants are everywhere and we try (but not always succeed...) to keep them alive.
The flat has great transport connections. The 61 and 62 tram stop is approximately 3 minutes walk away and UN Campus Station is approximately 10 minutes walk from here. It takes around 15 minutes to reach Bonn HBF by pubic transport so it's very easy. The bus stop for the 631 is also just around the corner.
There are lots of shops nearby. The closest Rewe is 7 minutes walk from here and Lidl is around 12 minutes walk. There are nice cafes near to both.
The Venusburg hills are very close to the flat so they are perfect for jogging or a nice walk in the evenings. Rheinaue Park is also nearby.
The roommates are the best things about this flat.
Aljoscha, 27, is from Berlin and is studying his Master's in Environmental Risk and Human Security at Uni Bonn and the United Nations University. He loves making Italian food (and is very good at it), enjoys punk music (with headphones on so don't worry!) and is working in the humanitarian sector on the side of his studies. Aljoscha is a native German speaker but speaks English fluently.
Carlotta, 26, is also from Berlin and is starting her Master's studies in Geography at Uni Bonn. She's very active and loves yoga or getting out on her bike to explore Bonn as she moved here very recently. Like Aljoscha, Carlotta is a native German speaker but speaks English fluently.
The flat is very relaxed. We often hang out in the kitchen chatting in the evening and sometimes share food if someone is making extra. That said, everyone is often busy so it's not uncommon for people to hang out in their rooms on a work night. We do like to have a beer or so on the weekends so it would be nice if you wanted to hang out with the other roommates on occasion!
