Schweren Herzens muss ich die WG nach einem Jahr schon wieder verlassen, da ich meinen Master im Ausland abschließen werde.
Das Zimmer um das es geht ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich. Ich habe bei meinem Einzug die Möbel (Bett, Schreibtisch, Schrank, Wandregale), Spiegel, Deckenlampe und Jalousien übernommen und möchte diese auch zu dem Preis wieder abgeben (350 Euro). Das kannst du ja bei deinem Auszug dann auch wieder so machen.
Durch das Fenster kann man aufs Flachdach klettern, wo ich zum Beispiel grade eine kleine Kräuterkiste hingestellt habe. Zum Frühstücken oder einen abendlichen Wein eignet es sich auch bestens.

Unfortunately I have to leave the flat after one year, because I will finish my Master abroad.
The room is small and very cosy. When I moved in, I took over the furniture (bed, desk, cupboard, shelves), mirror, lamp and blinds and would like to sell them for the same price (350 Euro). You could then do the same when you move out.
Through the window you can climb onto a little flat roof, where I have just put a small box of herbs. It is also ideal for having breakfast or a wine in the evening.
Die Wohnung hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage: Bus und Bahn direkt vor der Haustür und der Bahnhof nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt. In die Innenstadt sowie zum Hauptgebäude der Uni läuft man höchstens 10 Minuten. Die Lage der WG lädt zu spontanen Abenden im nahe gelegenen Hofgarten, am Rhein oder einer der zahlreichen Studentenkneipen ein.

The apartement is perfectly situated: bus and tram stops just outside the door and it is only a five minutes walk to the train station. It takes less than 10 minutes to the city center and to university. Also, you can reach the Hofgarten (a beautiful park in front of the main building of the university), the Rhine river and lots of bars within minutes.
Das wohl beste an der WG sind deine Mitbwohner: du wirst mit Lena (Psychologie), Sarah (Jura), Hanna (Politik und Gesellschaft) und Simon (VWL) auf eine bunte Mischung nicht nur bzgl. der verschiedenen Studiengänge treffen. Außerdem werden im August/September dann noch 2 neue Mitbewohner einziehen.
Unsere Abende verbringen wir gerne mit Wein auf der Couch in der Küche oder es verschlägt uns spontan noch in eine Bar oder den Hofgarten im Sommer. Ansonsten stehen spontane Backaktionen, Frühstück auf dem Dach und die ein oder andere WG-Party auf dem Programm. Es gibt immer jemanden zum Reden, aber natürlich hast du dein Zimmer als Rückzugsort, wenn du deine Ruhe haben willst.

The best part of the appartement are your flat mates: Lena (psychology), Sarah (law), Hanna (politics and society) and Simon (economics). There will be 2 more new flat mates moving in as well in August/September.
In the evenings we like to hang out on the couch in the kitchen, drinking some wine or we go to some bar closeby or the Hofgarten. We also have partys in our place (usually only one per semester). There is always someone to chat with, but of course you can always close your door whenever you feel like it.
Termin:
Da ich danach im Ausland bin, muss leider bis Mitte August die Übernahme abgewickelt sein. Ich habe aber letztes Jahr noch einen Zwischenmieter im Zimmer gehabt bevor ich eingezogen bin, das wäre auch eine Option für dich, falls du erst später einziehen wolltest.

Since I will already be abroad by the End of August, I need to end the contract by mid of August. But I had someone renting my room for a month last year before I moved in in October to fill the gap, could be an option for you too.
Internationale Studenten sind ebenfalls sehr willkommen bei uns!
