Hey there, are you in Bonn for less than half a year or for longer and looking for a place to rent temporarily while you figure out your permanent living solution or next move? This could be for you, read on... I am leaving my housemates from July 2023 to January 2024 for work travel and I will be very happy if someone nice can take my room for that period. Our flat is next to Bonn HBF in Bonn Zentrum and depending on how fast you can move down the stairs, the nearest bus station once you are on the ground is 45 seconds away, yes I timed it hehe.
We are a 3 -men shared flat aged 30, 30 and 31 and are all working, we are past the hyperdating phase and in stable relationships. Let me also mention that my housemates are vegetarian but no one will judge you if you order your cooked meat (I sometimes buy a whole bucket of KFC chicken once in a while), but we just don't cook it here in our meat-free kitchen. They won't judge if you cook meat either.
I am N, I come from this big beautiful village called Africa and I am the bookworm and wanderer, I spend more time on the road than I spend home. L1 who is German, is the athlete, he does boulder climbing, biking and other sports. In his spare time he also paints miniature figurines. Once in a while we invade his couch and I make everyone watch something in English with subtitles because I still can't speak German yet. L2 also bikes and he is the Pasta Master. Once in a while he takes out his pizza oven and makes us the finest pizza, yes you guessed right, there are some Italian roots in him. Once in a while I cook an African dish and make everyone eat with their hands. Don't worry, when you join them you won't have to worry about your fingers getting burnt while using them as cutlery, I will be thousands of miles away.
On the regular we cook independently and co-exist flawlessly. My room, which you will be taking over is fully furnished. It has a 2mx2m bed (you bring your sheets), a fancy old British couch, my unfinished DIY table for a home office (seriously I have no excuse why I have not completely finished that project), maybe its because my television is at the foot of the bed. Basically it has all that you need to live comfortably, sleep comfortably and also work productively from home.
