South African looking for a place to stay while learning German and It.

Hello!

My name is Paul, I’m a 26-year-old from South Africa, I finished my honours degree in strategic business management last year and moved to Germany rather recently, the plan is to learn the German language/culture while also studying business analytics/computer science as I want to pursue a hybrid career in business and IT. I thought it would be best to find temporary accommodation from South Africa and then look for a better fit once I’m here, so currently staying in a WG in Duisburg while looking around.

I’m not a clean freak or anything but I enjoy keeping my things orderly and clean. I don’t have any pets. I enjoy cooking food, one of my staple meals is a nice spaghetti bolognese, I like to listen to Indie and rock music but now and then switch it up by listening to deep house and EDM.

I enjoy being active and doing a wide range of activities, I currently got into mountain biking/cycling quite a lot but I’m always up for a new challenge, the most recent being learning to play spike ball which I enjoyed a lot!

I see myself as an extrovert who enjoys socialising, building chats and getting to know new people. I’ve been told I’m easy to get along with and rather open-minded and tolerant. When I’m not on the move or socialising I enjoy reading (mainly philosophy and psychology), listening to music and watching a good movie or series, I love shows with unexpected twists!
