Die Wohnung um die es geht ist insgesamt 68 qm groß und sehr gut geschnitten. Vor unserem Einzug 2016 wurde das Bad, der gesamte Boden, die Türen und die Wände neu gemacht. Es ist also eine Altbauwohnung, aber durchaus auf dem neuesten Stand. ;) Die Decken sind 3,6 m hoch.

Zentraler Punkt in unserem WG-Leben ist natürlich die Küche – wir sitzen gerne beisammen und quatschen oder kochen und essen gemeinsam. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit einer Spülmaschine, Backofen, Fritteuse, Reiskocher, Pürierstab) die jedes essensbegeisterte Herz höher schlagen lassen ;) Genug Stauraum bietet sie durch zahlreiche Schränke auch.
Fast genauso wichtig ist unser Balkon, der zwar ans Zimmer von Rzgar grenzt, aber explizit alle benutzen können: Auch wenn er nur knapp 3 qm groß ist, kann man sich durch die breite Balustrade oder die selbstgebaute Bank auch bequem mit 6 Leuten oder mehr drauf aufhalten. Er liegt zwar direkt an der Straße, diese ist als Einbahnstraße aber nur mäßig viel befahren, sodass man im Sommer auch abends angenehm draußen sitzen kann.

Zum WG Leben - zurzeit wohnen hier Alissa (21), die im Bachelor Medienwissenschaften an der TU & HBK studiert und zurzeit im wunderschönen Hamburg ein Praktikum macht. Außerdem noch Rzgar (28), der im Bereich Abfallwirtschaft an der TU promoviert und nebenbei in einem Ingenieursbüro arbeitet und Deutschlands schönste Deponien besucht.
Das WG Leben an sich ist entspannt und harmonisch. Wir machen auch gern gemeinsam Dinge zusammen, vor allem kochen und in der Küche abhängen. Da Alissa momentan nur am Wochenende mal da ist und Rzgar auch arbeitet, ist das WG-Leben etwas ruhiger geworden. Natürlich wird sich das WG Leben mit dir auch verändern und wenn einem danach ist, kann man die Zimmertür natürlich auch zu machen.
Was noch wichtig zu wissen ist: Die WG wird sich mit deinem Auszug im November dann auch insgesamt auflösen.

Das Beste an dieser WG sind nicht nur Lage und Ausstattung, sondern vor allem das Haus an sich.
In den acht Wohnungen wohnen zurzeit 21 Studis in 3er WGs, in einer Wohnung wohnt unsere entspannte Nachbarin Mimi. Das Haus ist in einer WhatsApp Gruppe organisiert und ein bis zwei Mal im Semester sitzen wir im Hinterhof nett beisammen (Grillen, Glühwein trinken etc.). Wenn jemand eine Party feiert ist, wird das meistens vorher angekündigt und häufig ist das ganze Haus mit eingeladen, sodass hier inzwischen jeder jeden (zumindest vom sehen) kennt. Ich finde das so sehr angenehm, da es zwanglos ist und man nicht in einer komplett anonymen Nachbarschaft wohnt. Obwohl das Haus und seine Bewohner relativ „aktiv“ sind ist es aber durchaus nicht laut. Wenn man was braucht, klingelt man einfach irgendwo.

The flat is 68 sqm in total and very well cut. Before we moved in 2016, the bathroom, the entire floor, the doors and the walls have been renovated. So it is an old house, but absolutely up-to-date ;) The ceilings are 3,6 m high.
The kitchen is of course the central point in our life as a shared flat - we like to sit together and chat or cook and eat together. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, oven, deep fryer, rice cooker, blender) which will make every food-loving heart beat faster ;) It also offers enough storage space through numerous cupboards.
Almost as important is our balcony, which is adjacent to Rzgar's room, but explicitly open to everyone: Even though it is only about 3 square metres, the wide balustrade or the self-built bench allows you to comfortably sit with 6 people or more on it. It is located directly at the street, but as a one-way street it is only moderately frequented, so that in summer you can also sit outside in the evening.
About the shared flat - currently living here is Alissa (21), who is studying Media Sciences at the TU & HBK in her Bachelor's degree and is currently doing an internship in beautiful Hamburg. Then there's Rzgar (28), who is doing his doctor in the field of waste management at the TU and also works in an engineering office and visits Germany's most beautiful landfills.
The WG life itself is relaxed and harmonious. We also enjoy doing things together, especially cooking and hanging out in the kitchen. Since Alissa is currently only here on weekends and Rzgar also works, life in the flat share has become a little quieter. Of course, life in a shared flat will change with you and if you feel like it, you can of course close the door to your room. What's also important to know is that the flat share will be completely dissolved when you move out in November.
The best thing about this flat share is not only its location and facilities, but above all the house itself.
At the moment, 21 students are living in the eight flats in shared flats with 3 people, one of which is occupied by our relaxed neighbour Mimi. The house is organised in a WhatsApp group and once or twice a semester we sit together in the backyard (barbecue, drink mulled wine, etc.) If someone is having a party, it is usually announced in advance and often the whole house is invited, so that everyone knows everyone (at least by sight). I find this so very pleasant, because it's casual and you don't live in a completely anonymous neighbourhood. Although the house and its inhabitants are relatively "active" it is not loud at all. If you need something, you just ring the bell somewhere.
