Das Zimmer ist ~25 qm groß, mit Laminat (neu) und sehr hell, dank 4 große Fenster. Ich wohne dort seit 2014 und fand es immer super, die isolierung am Fenster ist neu und deswegen ist das Zimmer - und auch die ganze Wohnung - meistens ziemlich warm im Winter auch ohne zu viel zu heizen. Da ich ins Ausland ziehe, werde ich auch viele Sachen dort lassen (Sofa-Bett, Bett, Tisch, Regal, Schrank, Lampe, etc.) die müssen übernommen werden (für 400€). Vor 4 Jahren habe ich etwas mehr für etwas weniger bezahlt, also es ist ein Schnäppchen :) der Rest der Wohnung besteht auf eine Küche (mit Spülmaschine!), Flur (sehr groß), ein Badezimmer mit Waschmaschine, eine kleine Toilette, ein Abstellraum, ein Wohnzimmer und das Zimmer von Kiki. Dazu gibt es einen Fahrradkeller.
The room is approximately 25 square meters, with a new laminate floor, and it's quite bright thanks to 4 big windows. I live there since 2014 and I liked it a lot. The insulation materials around the windows are new, and therefore the room - and the whole apartment - are pretty warm during the winter even without turning up the heating. Since I'm leaving and going abroad, I will leave some furniture (a sofa/bed, a real bed, a table, library, shelves, a wardrobe, and more) which has to be bought in bulk for 400€. I actually paid more for less when I moved in, so I'd say it's a good bargain. The rest of the flat is composed from a kitchen (with dishwasher!), a big entrance hall/corridor, a bathroom with a washing machine, a small toilet, a small storeroom, a living room and Kiki's room. There's a bike storage in the cellar.
Die Wohnung liegt bei der Kreuzung zwischen die Gastfeldstraße und die Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, also ist sie im Herzen der Neustadt. Es gibt einen Penny in der gleichen Gebäude und zwei weitere Supermärkte innerhalb 300 Meter, also einkaufen ist wirklich einfach. Die Bus/Straßenbahn Haltestelle ist vor der Tür und Bars und Cafes gibt es auch genug. Mit der Linie 6 erreicht man direkt das Zentrum und die Universität.
The flat is at the corner between the Gastfeldstr. and the Friedrich-Ebert-Str., so it's in the heart of the Neustadt. There's a Penny market in the same building and two other supermarkets less than 300 meters away, so buying groceries is really easy. The bus/tram stop is also right there, and there's enough bars and cafes too. With the line 6 you can reach directly the city center and the university.
Deine Mitbewohnerin heißt Kiki, kommt ursprünglich aus China und kann Deutsch, natürlich Chinesisch, Englisch und ein bisschen Französisch sprechen. Sie ist 32 j.a. und promoviert in Jura. Wenn sie nicht in der Uni fleißig schreibt, lernt sie gerade Guitarre zu spielen, macht Sport und sie macht manchmal gerne was zusammen (Kochen, ein Drink, oder ausgehen). Wir wohnen zusammen seit 6 Jahren, also kann ich sie als Mitbewohnerin wirklich nur empfehlen!
Your flatmate is Kiki, she comes from China and speaks of course Chinese, German, English and a bit of French. She's 32 and a PhD student in Law. When she's not in the university she learns to play the guitar, she goes to the gym and she gladly also cooks, has a drink or goes out with friends (that would include you!). We live together since 6 years, so I can really recommend her as a flatmate :)

Das Zimmer wäre teoretisch auch ab November verfügbar, da ich schon am 1.11 Weg werde. Die Zeit ist aber knapp, und ich werde sowieso schon die Miete bezahlen, also, sobald Vertrag und so sind fertig, ist ein Umzugsdatum noch im November auch möglich.

The room is in theory already available in November, since I'm leaving already on the 1st. The time is short though, so I will already pay the rent for the month. So, in case the contract is there, moving in in November would also be possible.
